I was born and raised in Guayaquil, Ecuador. I graduated in Marketing and Advertising and worked for advertising agencies in the area of creative writing where I won awards for creativity at national and international festivals.
After a few years of professional experience in my country, I traveled to Madrid to study creative writing at the Miami Adschool, and worked for the advertising agencies McCann, Del Campo Saatchi and La Despensa. I also got a Yellow Pencil at the D&Ad in London and was invited to participate in the Graduate Academy of the same contest, one of the most prestigious in the world.
Since I returned to Ecuador I have dedicated myself to promoting environmental conservation through documentaries and campaigns that I have created for the Galapagos National Park, WildAid and Conservation International, among others.
In recent years I have traveled the coast of Ecuador documenting social and environmental problems in order to improve the quality of life of coastal communities and the ecosystems on which they depend. From the mangroves of the Gulf of Guayaquil to those of the Cayapas Mataje Reserve in the north, on the countless sea turtle nesting beaches or with fishermen in the middle of the sea, my goal is to tell stories that influence people to live in well-being with the environment around us.
